I’m not sure if this smoothie will make your skin beautiful, but it’s definitely delicious. It features all my favorite berries, and the combination of fruits and yogurt makes it really smooth and creamy. I love sipping on this smoothie during breakfast or as an afternoon snack.
It is said that beauty comes from the inside out. While many people think that this phrase is nothing more than a cliché, it may be some truth. After all, if you eat healthy foods, you are likely to have a healthy complexion. This is because your skin is your body’s largest organ, and what you put into your body will show on the outside. If you are looking for a way to get beautiful, radiant skin, consider adding berries to your diet.
Berries are packed with antioxidants, which can help protect your skin from damage caused by the sun and pollution. They are also high in vitamin C, essential for collagen production. Collagen helps keep your skin firm and elastic. In addition, berries are a good source of fiber, which can help keep your skin clear by regulating digestion.
What are the nutrition in this smoothies provide?
Raspberries help make your skin look younger due to their high in antioxidants; helping your skin look more radiant and age slower. The anthocyanins in raspberries help your skin glow and maintain a youthful complexion.
Strawberries are high in vitamin C; just one cup can provide 150% of the RDI. They are also high in vitamin K1 and a variety of minerals such as Manganese, Copper, and Folic Acid. And the best part is strawberries are fairly low in calories.
Avocados are known for their good fat that helps to hydrate and bring back that beautiful, youthful glow we had in our teen years.
Kales are nutrient-dense super greens so you can sneak it into this smoothie and your kids won’t even notice since it tasted so good.
Coconut water is high in electrolytes and very hydrating.
And finally, banana is high in fiber, potassium, folate (folic acid), and antioxidants, such as vitamin C. All these vitamins and minerals help with good night sleep.
This Radiant skin smoothie is so delicious and also provides a boost of skin vitamins and minerals that keep your skin glowing.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 – 1 cup of coconut water
- 1 bananas
- 1 cup washed fresh or frozen strawberries no need to wash if it’s frozen.
- 1 cup raspberries washed (frozen or fresh)
- 2 cups kale
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- Optional: 2 Tablespoons Tocotrienols powder (natural form of vitamin E) it’s also creamy and delicious.
Instruction: You need a strong blender like the Vitamix or a Ninja
- Place all the ingredients in the blender in the order listed above.
- Blend on high speed for about 2 minutes or until smooth. If it’s too thick you can add more coconut water.
Substitutions:
- If coconut water is not available you could use almond milk or coconut milk or even water. The taste doesn’t change much just less creamy if you use water and more creamy if you use milk. Coconut water makes it sweeter.
- You could substitute different berries if you don’t have these but I find that these taste better.

Glad your kid likes the smoothie. It is my daughter’s favorite and easy enough that she could make herself.
Take care,
