This strawberry jam is the easiest recipe to make at home. No need for pectin, or anything else artificial. This Jam tasted amazing. You’ll never want to buy a store version again. It’s also Keto-friendly.

Tips before start:

  • Soaking strawberries in ACV help preserve the strawberries and remove any bacteria or other residue.
  • Place a saucer in the freezer before making the jam
  • Use fresh strawberries since summer is a great time to get fresh fruits and there are plenty. Fresh strawberries taste so much better.

  • 4 cups quartered strawberries
  • 1.5 cups of monk fruit/Lakanto or sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

  • Place the strawberries and monk fruit in a bowl and marinate for 1 hour or until they are juicy looking.
  • When the strawberries are ready, place the strawberries mixture and lemon juice into a saucepan.
  • Cook on low heat until the monk fruit sugar completely dissolves.
  • Once the sugar has dissolved, turn the heat high and bring it to a boil. Make sure the sugar had completely dissolved that way it’s easier for the Jam to set.
  • When it starts boiling, keep it going for 10-20 minutes or until thickens and then turn off the heat and take the pan off the stove.
  • Once the jam is set and doesn’t look runny; you can test the consistency by spooning a little bit of the jam on the frozen saucer and run your finger through; if it’s not runny and comes clean; it’s ready. Store it in an air-tight container and put in the fridge once cool. Serve chill with bread and almond butter or use as topping for ice cream or yogurt.

Enjoy this jam on top of yogurt or in gluten free bread or wrap.
